. remember this post ? i showed before pictures of an old bike i found out in one of our old out buildings . i love that it's red and has a basket and i knew with a little tlc it could be super cute in photoshoots, so i got to it . spent a little money to get her some new tires...whitewalls ! and she's rideable ! took a sos pad or two to it and wah lah ! here's what the rims looked like before, the sos pads did wonders for the heavy dirt and some of the rusty spots .

. i took a magic eraser to the seat and the handle bars . i did half the seat and took a picture, look at the difference .

. having help makes everything more fun .

she's not perfect, but she looks purdy if you ask me !

. and they are living happily ever after .

. i'm posting these on my personal blog since this was officially my last wedding (for now) . i wanted family and friends to see these special photos of a very special couple . kristi is my cousin, she has lived in greenville, south carolina for years and a few years ago she met doug . they dated, knew each other was the one, but waited a year to get to know each other better . their day finally arrived last saturday and it was a lovely celebration for them, family and friends .

. you all know how i love the detail shots so i've got lots of the shoes, dress and rings, so just keep scrolling if you're more about the people .

. sunday afternoon while in greenville our family took us to the beautiful falls park . spectacular ! this park is downtown greenville and it has a waterfall . such a combination of city and nature i have never seen .

. amazing flower beds .

. and the falls !

. this place had so many families, friends, dogs, kids, lunches...with a baloon here and there, geese, blankets spread, frisbee throwing . it reminded me of children's books i've read . or maybe a where's waldo, just not so crowded .

. sat down to take it all in for a few minutes .

. i love seeing new places like this . and when i'm there i'm always amazed such a place existed and i never knew...it makes me wonder what else is out there . what else should i see ?!

. i'm away, and miss home, but then i do really love home . i am having a great time away though . i'm in south carolina for my cousins wedding, if you don't already know . my mom and i left early to visit a friend of hers (and now a friend of mine) that lives in tennessee .

. there were lots of stops at gas stations . lots . that's a long drive !

. candace took us to a brand new museum in pigeon forge on wednesday, it was all about the titanic . i learned so much i never knew about the titanic, and i had even seen the movie !

. candace has three little ones . they stole my heart in the few short days i spent with them . they had me continually laughing, maybe i'll sure a video so you can laugh too !

. while sitting outside visiting in the afternoon ally started bringing me every different variety of leaves that they had in their yard . i ended up with a lap full, we put them in one of my books so they would dry out . i can't wait to do something fun with them . here's one of the cool leaves she brought me . have you ever seen anything like it ? i haven't .

. ally was constantly impressing me with her hunger for knowledge .

. and i got 'flowers' from the boys . the photos seriously make me melt !
