. this, as an adult, would give me a head rush, but i remember doing it as a kid...such a great, carefree feeling .

. jacqulyn is a super sweet lil lady who is so photogenic, i love taking her photos because she eats the camera up !

. kealy, such a sweet lil one . she reminds me of her grandma, who i love .

. my favorite, because of the eyes . she looks like she's not telling all .

. then there's little liam who has the fairest skin of all, bluest eyes of all and chubbiest saggy cheeks of all .

. aw...and the ears . don't you just want to eat him up ? the funny thing is he just wanted to eat me up ! he's so snuggly and when he's in snuggling he opens up and gives you what he's got, which is a lot of slobber...sooo sweet . i loved the sweets i got from this little fella .

. speaking of their mama . i love her ! snapped a few of her too, but going to get her at her best in a week or so when we shoot family pictures . i'm so blessed to have such great friends like chrissy ! love you and your little ones girl !

. rugs and shoes .

. good day .

. a good day, it was . ry and reed spend the day with me . we had a little picnic at the park with beth and her little guys . seth is really growing and was looking super cute so i shot a few of him, this one's my favorite .

. and veeery excited for my brother nate and his family . they bought their first home . they have looked for years for the perfect one and for one reason or another it's not been quite right, until his time . spent the evening helping clean, what an exciting time ! now we get to decorate !

. the neighbors tree .

. our neighbors across the road (whose girls photos i just took, remember meghan and sarah?) had a rotten tree that recently fell over in one of the many storms we've had . the tree fell over on a rental mobile home they have on their property, but thankfully no one was hurt, just material damage . i stopped by today to take a few photos of the old rotted out tree . it has some cool textures .

. and rotted out in a very lovely shape, don't you think ?

. maybe i'm just a proud aunt .

. or maybe she's just brilliant .

. these puzzles are tricky ! i've had it for a few months or so and play it now and again when kiddos come over . no one's ever got it . she played with it for 5 minutes last night and got it !

. she constantly amazes me .

. she did that while stuart and i worked on this puzzle . he's a huge thomas fan so loved doing this one .

. best. day. ever .

. so i spent the day with brooke and her little fellas at the beach on lake michigan . this was the first time i've spent a day at the beach . i've seen a few, been on a few but every time, time was short and it was cold . we were able to enjoy this day to its fullest .

. bryce and quinn are acting like herky . brooke gave them commands and they obeyed . it was so cute, then herky actually joined in .

. herky loves the beach . brooke didn't think she'd ever seen him so happy .

. he ran in the lake and then rolled in the sand, just like any good dog would .

. it was a toss up which was more fun, digging or playing with the ball, he managed to do both, at the same time .

. herks and quinn have a special relationship, it's so sweet to watch .

. the lake house .

. i spent this last week with brooke . while there i went with her to work . she nannies for twin boys and while there the boys family went to their lake house and invited us to go along . it was right on lake michigan and amazingly beautiful . that evening; the beautiful sunset, the campfire, the boys dancing and singing... i won't soon forget the good time !
